A Mission-Based Organization

Everyone knows the Y as a place to camp, swim, or exercise, but we're so much more. We work side-by-side with our neighbors to address critical community needs that help kids develop into smart, resilient adults, for people to improve their health and build a sense of community, and for our most vulnerable young people to get the care and support they need.

North Central Florida YMCA

Throughout our history, a variety of opportunities and challenges alike have risen and led to our organization's constant evolution. Over the years, our association has consistently changed to meet the needs of our community.

Working locally since 1967, we focus on empowering young people, improving health and well-being, and inspiring action in and across communities.

While future challenges will change, our unwavering desire to support our communities will always be at the core of the Y.
