Students will engage in conditioning exercises to prepare them for work in the air, and learn basic climbs and figures. Once students have mastered foundational technique on the silks, they will explore intermediate to advanced climbs, drops and combinations.

You too can fly through the air with the greatest of ease! Flying trapeze is open to all ages* and skill levels. First time students learn the basics of swinging, knee hang and mid-air transfer to a professional catcher. Students wear safety harness at all times.
What to expect: In this 90 minute class, participants learn all they need to know for a safe and successful flying trapeze experience. All technique is practiced on the ground before taken to the air. Participants wear a safety harness at all times and are under the supervision of multiple coaches to ensure safety on the ground, on the launching platform, through the air and into the net.
What to bring: Dress comfortably, i.e. workout clothes. No shoes required, but you do need socks. Remove all jewelry before class. Water bottle recommended.

These are developmental courses that teach proper terminology, techniques, and skills to facilitate independence and preparedness for higher levels of gymnastics curriculum.
WOMENS’: For girls ages 5+. This sport is designed to develop & display strength, balance & agility on the floor exercise, vault, uneven bars & balance beam.
MENS’: For boys ages 5+. This sport is designed to develop & display strength, balance & agility on the floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar.
Parkour is a sport using movement that developed from military obstacle course training, where participants will learn to move quickly and fluidly by swinging, climbing, running, jumping, rolling, vaulting & quadrapedal movements.
Gainesville Gymnastics Academy is a USAG Club team. We attend competitions all across the State. Membership in our competitive team program results when a child has shown exceptional strength, flexibility, skills, and has been invited to team. USA Gymnastics is our national governing body, and they direct competitive gymnastics nationwide. USA Gymnastics sets the rules and policies that govern gymnastics in this country. USAG has two distinct programs: Junior Olympic and Elite programs. The Junior Olympic program is made of ten levels: 1 through 10 in a linear order. Open gym is a drop-in non-instructional program offered to both children and adults. Our staff observes areas of the gym to maintain a safe atmosphere while you are given the opportunity to play, socialize, and explore our gym.
Pre-k: Wednesday 4:30-5:00
Kids: Sunday 3:00-5:00
Adult: Friday 7:00-9:00
Let our party staff take care of you! We will provide all of the party supplies, depending on what package you chose from. Our staff will plan party activities, assist with the set up and clean up, serve any food, and even cut the cake while you sit back and enjoy the party! Feel free to arrive up to 15 minutes prior to your party start time to set up the Celebration Room. Each party will run for 1 hour and 45 minutes with 30 minutes in the Celebration Room.
